Bicycle was born on the side of a bike trail with his 7 brothers and sisters. The pups were
brought into Dr. Domotors' Animal House where a few of the staff split them up into pairs to
foster them. Jen ended up falling
in love with his goofy personality and his joyful spirit.
By the time Bicycle turned 6 months old, Jen knew she had a special guy on her hands. He
has always been extremely sensitive to peoples' moods. If you are sad or upset, he puts his
head in your lap. If you are happy, he seems to smile and dance around. When he first
discovered his voice, he walked around and "talked" to anyone that would listen. Now, he
only talks when he's really excited or wants to play...he makes everyone laugh!
Bicycle is high energy when he chooses, but mostly loves to lay around watching Peoples'
Court and The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Or bury himself in the couch cushions...sometimes
sleeping so deep he doesn't answer.
This sweet boy has gone through most of his life being nervous and fearful, but throughout
the years, he and Jen have worked very hard at subsiding his fears (children and new
situations). Tiberius, Bicycle, and Jen would walk to Starbucks' every weekend to see his dog
"girlfriends" (Dottie and Gabby). After a year of this, he started to enjoy his walks and social
times. They also visited some of their elderly friends at The Gables in Monrovia. Bike would
usually lean against his friend, Phyllis. Through years of positive interactions, pet massage,
socialization, and gentleness, Bicycle has overcome most of his fears.
When Jen was working with Dr. Domotors' Animal House, Bicycle was frequently used for
dental demonstrations as well as handling/restraint and basic exam skills...he was a pro! Now,
as a retired demo dog, he loves going to the dog park and keeping his pals company during
vet visits or physical therapy.
Bicycle is truly a very special boy and means the world to his family...sometimes Jen can't
stand being away from him and you can catch a glimpse of the two of them riding around
Monrovia. Just look for the Two Dogs Petsitting convertible or SUV and ask to meet the
passenger!

and anything in a Kong

(Liver support), RxBiotics (enzymes for bowel consistency), Cosequin DS (joint support), Tacrolimus Oint. (for
dry eyes), and Pilocarpine (eye drops in his food to help lubricate eyes)
